Did anyone watch Larry King last night? I thought whenever a person was getting up for parole they notified the victims & give them a chance to attend the hearing? This POS was to serve 50 years to life for the kidnapping & rape in 1977. He served 10 years in the federal & 7 months in the state prison. Why wasn't this women notified of his release? He came to her job after getting out! When she contacted his parole officer he informed her this was one sick individual! Everyday I hear something else that could have prevented Jaycee's abduction & 18 years of pure hell!

Someday I hope this will come true for Trenton & I wouldn't miss it for anything!!

Thousands Turn Out for Jaycee Lee Dugard Parade

"We just want her to know that we love her and support her," said Jillian Broadfoot, 30, who attended Meyers Elementary School with Dugard at the time. "I think Tahoe lost its innocence with the kidnapping, and hopefully her return restores a little faith here."

South Lake Tahoe Police Chief Terry Daniels estimated 2,000 people took part in the parade and another 500 people joined them at a rally afterward. Most wore pink attire or held pink balloons in recognition of Dugard's favorite color. The parade route was lined by pink ribbons on trees.

Things won't change until everybody realises that SOs are as much, if not more, of a danger to our children as drug dealers.

Jaycee Suspect's Home Searched for Clues of Other Missing Girls

The search for clues into the disappearances of two girls in the 1980s has led authorities to a now-familiar address: the Northern California home of the couple charged with kidnapping an 11-year-old and holding her captive in their backyard for 18 years.

Police scoured Phillip and Nancy Garrido's property and a site next door Tuesday for any possible links tying them to the abductions of Michaela Garecht in 1988 in Hayward and Ilene Misheloff in 1989 in Dublin.

Investigators have found bones on the property where kidnapping suspects Phillip and Nancy Garrido lived for 18 years with Jaycee Dugard and her two daughters, police said Wednesday.

Police search for evidence relating to missing girls Ilene Misheloff and Michaela Garecht.

1 of 2 More bones of undetermined origin also were found on property adjacent to the home, Lt. Chris Orrey of the Hayward Police Department said.

"We have located what appear to be bones on both properties," Orrey told reporters. "We can't tell at this point if those bones are human or animal."

The evidence has been sent to a laboratory for analysis, Orrey said.

Just to think these *ssholes dropped the ball on this man & let him live as if he was normal!! As far as I'm concerned NONE of this had to happen & could have been prevented! It's sickening to know all of these professional individuals let all these girls down by releasing this sick monster into our society! I hope everyone is held accountable for whatever role they played in this..

It came out a couple of weeks ago that the bone found, was most likely a human bone:

LOS ANGELES - The small bone fragment unearthed near kidnap suspect Phillip Garrido's creepy California compound is most likely human, police said on Tuesday.

It was recovered last week after cops charged Garrido with the 18-year imprisonment and rape of Jaycee Lee Dugard, who was kidnapped outside her South Lake Tahoe home in 1991.

Two cadaver dogs working separately each showed interest in the same area of property belonging to kidnapping suspects Phillip and Nancy Garrido, a possible indication of human remains, police said Thursday.

Police search for evidence relating to missing girls Ilene Misheloff and Michaela Garecht.

1 of 2 Authorities will use ground-penetrating radar equipment on Friday to examine the area, and "we will eventually be digging in that location," said Hayward police Lt. Chris Orrey.

The Garridos face a combined 29 felony counts in the 1991 kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard, then 11, from South Lake Tahoe, California. Authorities believe the couple held Dugard in a hidden compound behind their home for 18 years and have said Phillip Garrido, a registered sex offender, fathered her two children.

On Tuesday, police from Hayward and Dublin, California, began executing search warrants simultaneously on the Garrido property and an adjacent property to which Garrido had access.

They are seeking any evidence in the 1988 abduction of 9-year-old Michaela Garecht of Hayward and the 1989 disappearance of 13-year-old Ilene Misheloff of Dublin. Both agencies have said that while Garrido has not been named a suspect in either case, he cannot be eliminated as a suspect. Watch police search the Garrido home »

On Wednesday, authorities said they had found bones on the Garrido property as well as the adjacent property but do not know whether they are animal or human. The bones are being analyzed, Orrey said on Thursday, and no new information was available about them.

In addition, a bone fragment was found on the adjacent property last week. Police said it was probably human, and it is being tested at the state DNA lab.

Alleged Jaycee Kidnappers Lived in Squalor

A visit by building inspectors to the home of the alleged kidnappers of Jaycee Dugard revealed the squalor they lived amid in their California home.

SACRAMENTO, CA -- She is the only witness to the Michaela Garecht kidnapping in November 1988. As a young girl, Katrina Rodriguez gave police a description of the suspect that was created into a composite drawing on flyers and broadcast on television.

Now similarities between that description and Phillip Garrido, who is charged with kidnapping Jaycee Dugard, are being investigated by Hayward police detectives as they combed through his Antioch property for a second day Wednesday.

"I have not seen a photo that looks more like Michaela's kidnapper than his," said Rodriguez of the 1976 image of Garrido.

Rodriguez added that she always felt the composite drawing of the suspect was good, but that the eyes were not quite right. "The eyes never go the intensity I felt they needed," she said.

Rodriguez and Garecht had gone to Hayward's Rainbow Market on their scooters and started to walk home when they realized their had forgotten about their scooters. They went back for them and noticed one of them was missing.

"One of them had been moved, and so she started looking around for it. We kind of separated and went opposite directions. And that's when I heard a scream. I looked and I saw a man putting her into his car," said Rodriguez.

When Rodriguez saw images on television of police towing away one of Garrido's cars from his Antioch property, she said she felt a twinge in the pit of her stomach.

"I called Michaela's mother right away and I told her, 'You know, this could be the car. Have we thought about him as a suspect?'" said Rodriguez.

Rodriguez said the kidnapping of her best childhood friend has never been far from her mind, and she is hopeful someday Michaela's family will get answers.

"My first hope would be that she's alive and that I can meet her again. I realize that that's not hugely likely, but my second hope would be that we find closure, we find out what really happened," said Rodriguez.
