I have Shadow trying to get in touch with Blog to try & get this issue resolved ASAP!!! We have lots of good discussion on here & would hate to lose it to this crap. So please bare with me until I can get this under control. Thanks PFT

Well it's not allowed. Even though BlogArtist gave me the Admin title I do not have the access to do anything with the forum. Hang in there guys Im hoping someone will answer my pleas for help.. I am very sorry. I try to come in everyday & delete the threads that they are posting. I think it is getting overwhelming though. The more I delete the more that gets posted..

Can they stop allowing auto memberships? I have an option to manually approve members before they can post. That should help you out if they are able to do that for ya.

I'm glad to see you are on top of this! I don't post here much anymore but I still come in often to read.

Yea I tried that but do not have permissions to acsess that page. Hmmm hope Blog or Billy get in touch soon...

LOL, your hands are tied tight then. Not much you can do until one of them shows up. It'll take you forever to clean it all up the way they are going.

Nope Nothing what so ever.. Even logged into Tampa Forums & messaged Billy that way. No response from Blog, Shadow, nor Billy. Sorry guys I have done what I could. I don't have the time to keep cleaning this mess up. After the Holliday started they just took over the froum & really whats the point when I can't shut them down. Hi there, I got in touch with Blog, but she doesn't remember her pwd so she can't get in the forums to turn off open registration. In the mean time, I've contacted billy and asked him to up our admin privs and turn off open reg. Additionally, I used the admin prune feature

To make it easier for us lowly admins, if anyone starts a new thread? Pls also reply to it at least once. That way we can remove the spammer sh!t without effecting your posts.

Aside, pft, you can find that in the mod panel, at the bottom left, under thread, and select prune anything btwn 0-7 days that has no replies. That should take care of most of the stuff. Also, pls just keep an eye on the new member at the bottom of the main forum, and ban them when you see a new one pop up. I will do the same.

Okay, just received a msg from blog and she has changed the registration back to closed registration.

Okay, I just finished cleaning this place up. The cleanup involved *manually* banning 400+ spam bots and removing over a thousand post. No thanks to anyone who actually owns this site.

So, if you people want to keep this place alive, go over to tampa forums, log in under your usleuth nym, and pm billy and ask him to increase both pft & my privs. If they do that, I will be happy to train pft wrt to running things.

If they don't? Well, frankly speaking, I have neither the time nor patience to keep at this. And yes, I am in an extremely vile mood.

And remind them what a gem they have with PFT and Shadow. PFT should have thrown her hands up and ran in the other direction. Shadow came back on board and helped clean up an awful mess. Neither of whom get paid except with our heartfelt thanks (when we remember).

Tell the big guys if they can't trust these two with full admin controls, then they can't trust anybody. I'd trust either of them in a second with anything I own!
