Octuplets Mom On Welfare, Spokesman Confirms

The Southern California mother of octuplets receives $490 a month in food stamps and three of her first six children are disabled and receiving federal assistance, her publicist confirmed Monday evening.

Spokesman Michael Furtney said Suleman did not want to disclose the nature of the disabilities, or the type or sum of the payments.

Furtney confirmed the public assistance payments after two sources told The Los Angeles Times that Suleman was receiving food stamps and federal supplemental security income.

Now I can not believe this woman. Of all things being on assistance with the first six children. I do not have a problem with people being on assistance to help them get through hard times. However I do have a major problem with having 8 more babies while on assistance in a state that is more than broke!
I have heard a lot of people stating she is mocking Angelina Jolie even had some type of plastic surgery. My prayers go out to all of the children who will be neglected in some way shape or form by this mothers choice of having so many. Also to her parents who have been left to take care of the children in their tiny 3 bedroom home. This woman clearly is not in the right state of mind to be able to make responsible decisions!! Poor babies will have a long tough road ahead of them.

Octuplets' Mom: I'm Through Having Babies

The Southern California mother of octuplets who already had six other children says she's done having babies.

In an NBC "Dateline" interview aired Tuesday night, 33-year-old Nadya Suleman says the octuplets were a sign from God that she should stop having children.

Well, she should be able to live quite well off of the SSI and welfare payments she'll be getting with 14 kids. I'd say she can stop having babies now.

Maybe they should go after the father for child support? She says, (although she's already lied), that a "friend" donated all the sperm for each baby & they all have the same father, but he's not ready to be in their lives. Uh, well, he didn't mind donating the darn sperm did he.

This is just so over the top. This woman definitely needs some kind of mental evaluation, imo. Can you imagine, a single mother with 14 children. You might as well shoot me

Since she is on public assistance, I am surprised that they aren't making the sperm donor pay child support. I guess there must be some way of getting around that in that situation.
